Thank you!

Some work today:

First, the tapes on the canopy were removed and replaced by other ones; I made a mistake (the protuberance on the canopy haves to be painted)

Then, masking of the fuselage interior, for next painting phase

Then, airbrushing of Neutral Grey

And finally, a little bit of green...

Excellent!

I see my "radome green" is near to the same shade as yours. That was a hard one for me to mix up from the paints I could find here.

Thank you all!

Not so much time for modeling today; it was a hard day at the office...

First, if I decided to build that kit out-of-the-box, I must say that I was intriguated by the fact Eduard  ask for painting in Gunze H308 (grey). So I verified on their site, the instructions for their 1/48th scale kit that recommends H26 green... I preferred to use H26.

I have also placed a drop of the cockpit interior color on the protuberance of the canopy from the kit I will build "open"

I have assembled the instrument panel on the floor

A little bit of Boltgun Metal on the train

And, finally, grey on the seat.[

Lot of little actions today:

First, airbrushing of steel; then paintbrushing of grey in the front wheel compratment
Placing of the cockpit elements
The nose cone
Gluing of the half fuselages
Placing of the seat
Interior of wheel compartments
Assembling fuselage/wings
Ailerons
Canopies are placed
Armament supports under the wings
And my "personal putty" where needed.

When I made dry fitting tests, the cone fitted well in the fuselage without any jointure. The simple thickness of the paint provoked such a jointure...

I have also decided not to build a Russian aircraft but a Czech (modern camo) one; just because I'm awaiting for the SMT combo box and this last one includes Russian aircrafts only... So, a Czech will add a little bit of variety ;)
