Martlet went into the final painting works. First image show final fittings of the engine cowling bottom area. Next image show it with protected glass and then follow image where it is under very fresh coat of the primer. Wheels are painted in deep grey blue color which look very realistic as the model color for the rubber. For the first top coat I use overall Tamya color Sky, as well it adhere excellent to surface, it is similar to the later camouflage color and dry fast. Color used for this kit is the mix of the Valleyo and Revell colors. Fisrt final coat goes at bottom and there is Vallejo paint which excellent represent DuPont color for the planes exported to the UK. Final image is the wartime color image of the subject I working on, Martlet I, register NXG2, and this batch of planes have different colors, they are extra dark grey, sea green and sky at the bottom.
