Nor can much be seen through the little cockpit "hole"! :-eek

I'm glad to hear the halves fit nicely. My sample had been on a shelf for a long time and I believe one half was warped a bit because of that.

I did build one on LLL some time ago. It's a great kit, and watching this dual-build is twice the fun.....

Well, I like those kits. There are pleasant to built. A little bit anxious for the assembly of the cockpit interior (seems weird or, at last, strange) but  hope that all will be fitting finely...

Second Air Force sent me a PM very useful:
"You mentioned the cockpit parts fit. When I built mine I removed the sides of the floorboards so that you can see down to the wing area as on the original. Perhaps that will help with any fit issues you might be having. As I remember the floor interferes with the sidewall detail."
