Douglas Skyray- Tamiya 1/72
« on: January 06, 2021, 12:10:28 PM »
One nice kit of the fighter from the Golden age of jets, with so lovely shapes. Simple one with some small additional set for upgrade.

Kit is simply to do and so simple in colors, black dominate everything. Interesting is use of this ancient etched set and they work fine. Part all fit well and I used acrylic varnish to fix some elements, like this parts in cockpit walls sides.

Few small steps done- landing gear, some drop tanks as well external container and all pylons mounted. Must say it was rich equipped airplane for its period!!
