I've begun that kit some days ago but awaited a little bit before posting...
Lot of work to do on that kit to obtain a Belgian aircraft.
The box contains two kits. I gived one to Dominique Jadoul, keeping the other for me...
4 decorations are proposed: 2x US Navy, 1 USAAF and of course 1 Belgian bearing the US civil registration NX-56B.
It's short run but parts are nice.

First operation: the Belgian Buffaloes didn't have a window on the bottom of the fuselage. The clear part was sanded carefully and glued in place. That part will be painted in alu, like the undersurfaces.
I added seatbelts (made with Tamiya cache) and created a pitot tube. The pitot on Belgian aircrafts was particular...
And finally I created the element that will come behind the pilot's seat...

After that sitting, agood beer was needed!  :))

Painting of the interior and some other elements. To be noted I've used Vallejo aluminium paint: very good! easy to use, totally acrylic and really metal!

After that, half fuselages were assembled and wings added. The rear wheel is also typical because it's the navy one and the "croupion" is the longer one.

I had to add the exhausts and some Vallejo putty was needed. Some trials was done to see if my parts in scratch are fitting in the kit.
The support of the wheel legs falled down out of the fuselage... Not a real problem, I will replace it at the end of the work.

Undersurfaces are alu painted. As previously said, Vallejo paint is very good!

The undersurfaces are masked; then Dark Earth is airbrushed on the uppersurfaces and the fuselage

This will be a fine example! I contemplated a Belgian one in 1/48 but first a Finnish machine for me....

My U.S. Navy references always refer to the Buffalo as a failure but when I learned about the Finns and their successes, I was fully impressed!!

Yes, the Finns did great job with the Buffalo. That aircraft was strong enough to support arctic winter.

Today, masking phase then I've airbrusehd Dark Green...
