Here is new kit from Eduard and it include many changes compared with šrevious kit. List is bellow:
FUSELAGE:
Completely new design. Besides overall dimensions, we also made significant shape changes.
1. Nose – Nose ring is reshaped to a truncated cone with straight sides, which is in keeping with the actual article. Drawings show this as having curved sides.
2. Bottom of the front end is thinner.
3. Radiator under the nose is completely new. This is actually a very complex piece not easily defined.
5. Compressor intake is new (parts I 54 and I 55). Leading flange bolts are new and the side welds as well.
6. The overall intake is new (part I 26), with the typical shape on the top rear part below the fairing on the engine cowling
7. changed the sheet metal cover of the top of the cowl, where it is differently separated, and in a modified spot to allow for its fairing at its rear, and there are two incarnations of this, one for Mtt. Regensburg machines, and one for Erla Leipzig. The gun troughs are different for different versions. The separation of this part no longer follows rivet lines.
8. The right bulge over the guns has two variants, a ‘clean’ one for Mtt. Regensburg, and with a nipple at the front of it for Erla Leipzig (mainly for the G-5). This was covered before, but the G-5 bulge was added later. Left and right bulges are not mirror images, in terms of shape and cross section.
9. The fuselage/wing joint is reshaped, the small connection bolt fairing is characteristically bent out of sheet metal.
10. The fuselage cross section is changed behind the cockpit at the former behind the canopy.
New flow to the fuselage sides. We removed a swell around the third former behind the canopy.
11. The fuselage below the canopy heading to the rear is built of truncated segments with straight sides that bind in an obtuse angle and not along a smooth curve. This is very difficult to see, but it is there.
12. Also changed was the asymmetry of the tail surfaces, which is now slightly more pronounced.
13. added an alternative plywood fin for the tall tail version (there are in all three fin options).
14. added alternative tall tail versions (which become relevant in the G-10).
15. made an alternative G-4 tailwheel with a shape modification under the rudder.
WING
1. Shortened span.
2. Wingtips are now integral with the top wing halves with improved, relief detailed wingtip lights.
3. Wheel wells have new coverings, partly in canvas with a zipper, and part metal. Noted should be the alignment locks for the attachment of three part walls of the wells. This needs to be assembled as per the instructions, or the alignment lock is irrelevant. But, it can easily be removed.:-)
4. The landing gear struts are made so that they attach at the correct angle with respect to the aircraft axis.
5. modified the wing centresection so that when the flaps are in the down position, there is no perforation visible into the fuselage.
6. changed the relief detail on the ailerons, done using a new method allowing greater finesse of this detail.
PROPELLER
1. There are new prop blades for the G-6/G-14. Their roots are modified.
2. verified the shape of the airscrew. Both the original hub and a prop blade were lent to us during the design of these components.
COCKPIT AND CANOPY
1. redesigned the front firewall and the central cover.
2. added a pressurized canopy for the G-5, including the armor behind the pilot’s head.
3. added another two variants on the Erlahaube/Vollsichtshaube canopy and modified the original
4. Added was the REVI 16 gunsight.
5. The rear part of the canopy has an upper lengthwise frame molded on the inside.
6. Detail changes to the cockpit floor (three small boxes to the right of the seat)
7. Added a cover to the 30mm MK 108 breach (for the U4 version) – part H43
8. Modified the right side of the cockpit, besides the addition of some cabling, the front structural member was moved to a non-symmetrical location when compared to the left side, also changed the switch panel. The left sidewall is also changed, with a modified throttle, ventilation vents were added on both sides, and ribs are part of the fuselage halves, and the fuselage halves themselves were modified to better accept the cockpit.
9. redesigned their attachment to the fuselage to ensure proper assembly.
10. changed the placement of the rear cockpit deck (parts H41 and I57) into the assembled fuselage in order to minimize incorrect placement.
OTHER DETAILS
1. Added an alternative droptank.
2. Added a whip antenna below the right wing.
1. changed the underwing cannon pod interface.

Very beautiful now!
-
Thanks, will continue tomorrow, I guess ;)

Cockpit work ;)
-
superb ! like it a lot !
-
I like that they have made the drop tank fuel line "flowmeter" in clear plastic on the supply tube. This is a nice touch.
-
Entire kit is beautiful and build goes really smooth. Some later today I will post new images.
-
Great!
-
Thanks and here is what was done today. First I replace exhaust with resin one.
-
Then work on merging fuselage. Filler you see is result of my error, kit is very good.

Kit is splendid...

great progress, looking very nice !
-
Thanks :)) Progress this morning ;)

This looks to have an excellent fit, too!
-
It is, I am really enjoy this build and happy to have after another one, G-5 version
-
Much work on details but few more Brassin set wait for me
-
Brassin boxes are great for small house materials, like nails in this case :-ok So I prepare to make Brassin under wing cannon pod and after that, kit will be ready for painting.
-
All looks really, really excellent!
-
Good idea to recuperate brassin boxes in such a way; and nice work! :-ok
-
Thank you friends :))
-
I change my mind about resin cannon pods. As well I want to make kit with all elements closed, this pod can not be used as well it is open and very detailed. It will be included in next kit. This is situation with build, tomorrow will make smooth all surfaces and apply surfacer and first coat of paint.
-
Painting started
-
Even the styrene gun gondolas look excellent!
-
They are ;)
-
:-ok
-
This will be sample I am going to made, Bf 109G-6 W.Nr.160303, Hptm. Friedrich Eberle

Update coming ;)
-
Two topside colors
-
looks very nice !

Thanks and sorry for delayed reply. Situation on my side- RLM 74 is painted over and I start work on Brassin propeller as replacement for original kit propeller. One tip- I use Gunze Sangyo RLM 74 and in order to bring it closer look to RLM 74, you need to add 1/4 of black.
-
Nice work and thanks for the tip! :-ok
-
Great!!
-
And it is ready for decals, tomorrow :))
-
Splendid :-ok :-ok :-ok

Small update on subject:

-
very nice work mate !
-
Thanks :))
-
Hello mate, :-salut
Very good job. Bravo !
The type of glassed-armor plate you have chosen is not good for a G-6. It is for a G-10. The hot air tubing at the base must be removed.
The MG 131 bulges are too bulky espacially on the top. They must be reduced.
My kit is almost built (but not painted) in the G-5 version. The pressure and overpressure valves are lacking on the rear bulk head. As reproduced the cockpit is one for a G-1 or G-3 with the valves under the instrument panel on the left side.
I shall put some pictures in a few days.
Jicéhem :-wave

Huh... I did not take attention on the pilot armor plate, sorry. Will be pleasure to see your build, it will be perfect for sure :))
