Many years ago, version G-10 catch my eyes and it still become so attractive to me. I built some of them in past and this will be so pleasure to do! Last eduard release!
-
Just best impression of this kit about quality and easy to built! In general most parts fit previous versions, just few of them inside make difference. Of course, fuselage and wings are entirely new.
-
Good one! Even though I am in a "modeling slumber" I still enjoy watching you all build!!!!
-
Excellent!!!
-
Thank you friends ;)) few more photos of progress
-
Hi Mate,
Good choice. And markings of KG(J) 6. Excellent !
-
Thank you for kind words and here is situation in the moment ;) some little filler need in front of windscreen but in general, painting can start tomorrow.
-
So painting started and I will do Bf 109G-10, W. Nr. 130297, from 10./ JG 51, pilot Fw Horst Petzschler. Very complex subject as well machine is made from subassemblies, all separately painted and no way that real color can be predicted. What I see on archive photos of real machine is various shades, which differ so this indicate more camouflage colors there as well even protective metal color. Here is first painted bare metal panel at the wing bottom and then basic factory color over it. Still not sure where it have to go, as well engine bottom color, differ from fuselage bottom/side color. So one will be in RLM 76 and another one in protective grey green. Or something else? Many options to make mistake so do not follow this as guide... and yes, color I find very suitable for this protective factory color, based on very good preserved sample from France (if I remember good)
-
Next step is engine in RLM 76 with sole top coat of RLM 82. As I see on photos, no others colors there, only some paint corrections on port side in total different and extra dark color.
-
This paint scheme is difficult, but it will be rewarding in the end!
-
True and here is steps- first some area in RLM 02 color
-
Work on basic protective color, protecting areas and paint it over
-
Work on RLM 75 and RLM 82 colors
-
Rudder painting in RLM 75 and RLM 81 and propeller white and black green
-
Final decals steps
-
This is it :))

Cheers,

Thank you so much :))

Hi mate,
I didn't see that yesterday but ventral tank's rack must be slightly located on the left. The rearward nick of the rack must be on centerline of the fuselage.
