Thank you! :-flo

I am finding that I can't stop building Messerschmitts....... ;)here's the old Fujimi kit I just picked up for the decal sheet. I may as well put it together and add it to the fleet.

Thanks, y'all!

Yes, No.1, it is a very relaxing kit to put together and the parts fit very well, actually. I have it all assembled and primed now and part of the markings sprayed on as well.

RLM 76 is on, then the airbrush started acting odd. I've got to strip and clean it before continuing.

Here's the final update on my old Fujimi G-6 that I bought for the decal sheet.

First, I needed a green numeral 1 and none were available here. So, the old method of doubling up decals worked fine. The green decal sheet came from an old green heart decal and the white is plain decal sheet.

The finished model, done as the G-6 flown by Hermann Graf when he took over JG-50 to fine-tune attack methods against the four-engined bomber threat. I decided to model the airplane as it was when he first arrived without the red tulip nose markings.

It's hard to believe I have never built one of the Monogram/Revell Bf-109G-10 kits. I've seen these on the shelves for over thirty years and never given a thought to purchasing one. Now that I've learned much more of the technical side of the development of this fighter (thanks to Jicehem and his research in great part) I appreciate this kit. Here is the basic assembly of the parts before starting to paint. The cockpit isn't greatly detailed, typical of kits from the 1970s, but the overall fit is pretty nice. I'm going to enjoy building this.
