Painted.

Not happy at all, I don't master AK Xtreme Metals that are often very good...

Thank you.

In fact, I airbrushed a too thick quantity of Xtreme Metal Polished Aluminium. I masked the paint and airbrushed Xtreme Metal Aluminium on some panels (the difference between the two paints is really light). Removing the masks, at some places the paint under the masks was removed. I made correction but as my paint was thick, corrections are visible if you examine the model attentively...

Will have to master that paint because I like it anyway; you can see the result it's extremely realistic...

Project abandoned.

I've airbrushed Pébéo gloss varnish then used the Panel Liner from Tamiya.

When removing the excess of panel liner, the Xtreme metal paint was removed too...

Kit in the trash. No regret. Time to go to another project...

Well, I'm sorry to hear this. I did like the little machine and am still glad you shared the build with us.

Our NMF experience and learning continues--it seems never to end with bare metal, doesn't it?

Sure Scott; I will have to make some tests with Xtreme Metals on spare parts before to begin a new NMF kit...

Every NMF product I have used or tried reacts in its own way to each and every other thing we use, it seems!

I agree...

Having discussed about that problem with a friend, he suspect a bad quality of plastic of the kit...
