Astir CS Jeans
« on: January 17, 2021, 07:00:09 PM »
This kit was assembled by a friend that gived it to me. Some work needed, like some sanding, some minor corrections like the gap between the Retrowings cockpit detail set and the fuselage. The canopy was removed from the (little) sprue by myself, but badly. I have to correct it adding some matter - Will do that with Crystal Clear or a transparent glue for kids. Anyway I've used Tamiya compund and then Klir.

Interresting kit...

Lot of work on the Astir... Gap in the wing to correct; and I have to remove the paint (not smooth enough).

I'm actually working on the canopy. Removing it from the sprue, I've removed too much matter so I'm correcting with Microscale Crystal Clear, progressively

Cockpit interior done.

For the canopy, back to zero... But I'm confident  :))
