I've presented you the very nice Jumo from Retrowings, made for the Eduard 1/144 Me 262 kit. In my article in the first Warplane magazine, I said that for me it was possible to adapt that engine for the Trumpeter kit.
I've started the work...
First two photos to remind you the Retrowings engine. Third one: in red, the element of the Trumpeter engine that will be kept and adapted on the Jumo. I've glued the two half engines, and cut that part that I've glued on the resin engine.
4th, 5th & 6th photos: the new "Trumpeter-Jumo", with miliput (that needs some sanding of course)
Last photo: the adapted engine fits nicely on Trumpeter kit.
Now I have to sand the miliput correctly.
After that I will send the engine to Dominique Jadoul, as a master for duplication...

So small, job for craftsman :))

Maybe this could be of some help ;)

Thank you mates, and thank you Srecko for the photos! Will be of course very useful... ;)

You are welcome :))

FINISHED!!!
I've carefully sanded the miliput, and replaced a cable that was broken in the process.
As you can see, fitting is good. Now I will send that engine to Domi, awaiting his comments...
