Last year I've begun that kit for a French group build, but I did not finished it in the delays. I will restart the build soon (as soon as the KV-1 will be finished in fact).

Here are the work already made, step-by-step...

 The kit:

 I will add Eduard's photoetch
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag02.JPG)

 The kit contents
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag04.JPG)

 The photoetch. Three, not two...

The decal sheet. I will of course opt for the Belgian...

First elements removed from the sprue, and the third PE from Eduard
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag08.JPG)

-
First steps. Removing of plastic, to be replaced by PE
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag09.jpg)

Episcopes. More realistic than the plastic, but not easy to form...

PE again, and tyres. You will note my "home-made" tool for the manipulation of the little PE parts: toothpick + Blu Tack
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag11.JPG)

Sanding of the excess of glue
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag12.JPG)

 Again PE
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag13.JPG)

-
The Eduard's jewel on the PE sheet: the interior of the turret!!!

 Then the forward machinegun
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag17.JPG)

But back on the turret interior. The work was not simple. All the plastic but one part was removed and replaced by PE
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag18.JPG)

-
And that will gives what follows:

 Nice, isn't it? Yes, but...
... When I wished to continue, I constated that I formed and glued the PE inverting the sides!!! The interior is outside and the exterior inside...

After the need to calm my nerves, I dismantled all the work made...
-
With the correction made, I continued to work on that turret interior, forming little PE elements
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag26.JPG)

And, progressively, the interior is more detailed
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag28.JPG)

What will be seen when the work will be finished is something like this:
-
See the last photo just above, and the modification with the replacement of plastic by PE
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag32.JPG)

 The leader trap
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag33.JPG)

 The light...

-
... And, again, back on the turret...
I was annoyed because the interior is splendid thanks to Eduard's PE; but it was also so empty without ammunition...
I visited my preferred hobbyshop (Tankit, Charleroi) and my friend Michaƫl found this for me in its stock
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag37.JPG)

I prepared the ammos for painting, like this
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag38.JPG)

Then, gluing of the lateral doors
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag39.JPG)

The front windows. One is open, the second closed
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag41.JPG)

The part #43 of the kit is replaced by Evergreen and PE
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag42.JPG)

Some work on the rear door traps
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag43.JPG)

 Again, some PE
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag44.JPG)

Preparation again: some plastic removed, to be replaced with PE
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag46.JPG)

After sooooo a looooong time, I'm restarting the work on this one!

The shelves (from Armorscale) are painted using Agama metalic for brass; Tamiya for copper and Citadel for yellow and black
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag001.jpg)

And the seats are also painted
 (http://users.skynet.be/bk320910/stag002.jpg)

-
Well, bad news: kit is definitively abandoned. Bad reaction between old paint and oil wash; and the tiny PE parts dropped when I tried to place the ammos...

No problem, going to other builds! ;)

Yes; it's an accident in fact... I deleted all the photos I had but have completely forgotten that there were not "safely" posted here...
My apologies for that, my friend...
