Schwirrflieger
« on: October 21, 2014, 08:28:07 PM »
Dear friends,

I start one very interesting and less known subject and during the advanced stage of build, you will see what is this about. Basic idea is to make German paratrooper figure as they look like in 1939 and then adopt it with specific equipment.

First at all set of historic images as well one modern, which show em in the pre war period.

Thanks :)) Today I will take a look on extra propellers of Royal Class Bf 109G kit and choose two I will not use (there is total of six samples and I need just two) and they will be used for next step of work.

Now we get to the point- backpack device for vertical take off, from 1939!!! I convert extra parts from MiG-21 1/48 kits to get this ;) Propellers are from Revel He 219 in 1/72. They look a bit smaller to me but will see later, they are last to be attached.
