Captured M3 with 75mm guns in the hands of the Japanese. They were captured several pieces on the island of Bataan in the Philippines and used against the Americans themselves.

Interestingly, in the 30s, the Japanese experimented with armored armor for the infantry — "Turtle". The front part had the largest armor thickness of 6 mm, the structure was attached to the back using a Y-shaped belt system.

The protection withstood shots from a 6.5 mm rifle from a distance of 100 meters and close detonation of fragmentation grenades (from 5 to 10 meters), due to the ricochet from rounded planes. (The probability of concussion during use was not taken into account).

The main way to move with this device was to crawl. But the shield weighed 30 kilograms, it was very difficult to crawl with it, which led to the refusal to adopt it.

Well I'm not sure how effective this was, lots of time to do this, the tank was hidden well but the Germans destroyed anything on they way so I have my doubts about it. But it looks great and that is a fact, thanks for the pictures mate. It could be a nice diorama

You are welcome and true, tank is not visible but building is, so can be attacked also, just in case to kill as optional position of partisans.
