This kit has a special story...
4 or 5 years ago, when I was practicing martial arts, one of my fellow "warrior" asked me to learn him how to build a model. He was interested by tanks. I proposed him to build that Jagdpanther that I had in my stock. He began the work and I must say was good; but life being what she is, he didn't had the time to continue... So the kit was sleeping on my stash since then.
Yesterday my eyes falled on the box art. I decided to continue the kit. But as I wish to use another camo, today I've first airbrushed white primer on the wheels and the bottom of the chassis, the parts my friend had already painted...
-
Almost like group build ;)
-
Yes, we can say that! :-green
Today I've airbrushed Tamiya XF-61 Dark Green
-
Black paintbrushed on the wheels.
....A loooong moment of paintbrushing...
-
And even longer moment to protect each wheel!!!!
-
Good to see a new armor project!
-
Today, Tamiya XF-61 airbrushed on the lower surfaces of the upper hull...
-
Just watch... now armor vehicle builder so your built step are so interesting for me
-
Very nice mate !
-
Thank you friends!
Well, I've decided to repaint the tracks. My friend did a very good work on it but as I take the job, it's all the job ;-)
So, primer airbrushed on one face; tomorrow (or later) the second one.
I've also airbrushed gloss varnish on the wheels and the lower part of the chassis

Good !
-
one face of the tracks painted (Tamiya XF-10 Flat Brown)
-
Excellent base paint!!
-
Yes, as you says, just a base paint. Lot of work to do after... :-green
-
Looks nice !
-
Thank you !
-
Tracks completely painted. One face gloss varnished...
-
A lot of works just on tracks... and still far from mud, dirt, dust and so on
-
Exactly...
-
Nice work on the track mate, I imagine there is a lot more to come
-
Thank you my friend.
I've applied Tamiya Panel Liner on the all the tracks and wheels; little weathering on the tracks done with AK "Aluminium" pencil: great product!
Photos are not representative of the actual result obtained... :-/

Top work and just can imagine how much time need to manage all details in this complex parts!

It was time to resume the work on that Jagdpanther. To be honnest, I was afraid with the correct positioning of tracks...
...But well, no big problem encountered finally :-cool
