Hi again from Greece,
After the tricycle ambulance and the empty bucket, here comes another vignette.
Towards the end of World War II,in the evening of February 13, 1945 the old Saxon city of Dresden, famous mainly for its art and Baroque architecture (and by some historians possessing no military value) had been spared the terror that descended from the skies over the rest of the country.
Many books are written about the subject, and on behalf tried to depict a scene of the historical fact.
Thanks for watching

Must say this is very daring subject and you have enough of strength as Picasso did when he has painted Guernica :(

Keep on this way, not subject as we usually seen but this will remind us on reality and horror of war!

Finished at last.I tried to represent it as a retro b/w photo, avoiding to push more the edge, and hurt the common feeling.Hope you like it.Please feel free to comment.

Thank you Sall, the figure is a WWI trench rider from the Verlinden resin range, converted with mulliput putty, and altered helmet from Warriors.Position was similar to the resin one,cut and glued again in order to fit the base.

I believe No1,that in such kind of "sensitive" subjects it is more sensible not push the edges by hurting the "common feeling".Guernica was my initial inspiration though...
