It's my friend Dominique Jadoul that gived me the envy to begin another tank!!!
With RetrokiT, Dominique realize lots of sets that help to ameliorate or modify chibi tanks (but also aircrafts).
This time, he created the hull of an Hetzer to convert a Pz38T...
Photos of the kit and RetrokiT set

As said in the "instructions", some surgery must be done to adapt the Hetzer hull on the chassis...
Wheels are also removed from sprue
-
Nice start mate !
-
Thank you!
White primer airbrushed. Minor correction needed on the rear of the chassis; no putty used this time but cyano... Useful for minor gaps, dry in a few minutes and sands well...
-
I know this will be so lovely at the very end :-ok :-razz
-
Thank you my friend ;-)
-
Nice progress
-
First airbrushing phase (Tamiya XF-60, XF-61, XF-64)
-
...Then, first use of "masking putty": a black paste (reusable as it seems) that you apply on the kit in place of masking tape...
-
Second application before painting the third color of the camo then the masking putty is removed.
Well, first use want to say little mistakes (lot of minor corrections to do): you have to verify if the surfaces are well masked; but as you can see the product don't destroy the painting job - Well, I'm happy with the result!
Second time (for the Jagpanther) will be from far better ;)
-
Interesting product, many years ago I have seen something similar from Japan. Their masking paste harden and can be cut, also good for making precise masking contours.
-
Yes, this is really interresting that product...
Little progress: paint corrected; a little bit of rust and exhaust painted in rust
-
Pébéo gloss varnish
-
Decals applied. My Hetzer belong to the Palombian army :))
Then, Tamiya Panel Liner...
-
The Palombian armor has great camouflage!!
-
That country comes from a Belgian comic book "le dictateur et le champignon" (the dictator and the mushroom )
No Hetzer in the book but nice cockade...
-
General Zantas' finest armor!
-
Palombians, most danger Army ever!!
-
Both of you are true! :))
Anyway:
Pébéo matt varnish, then pigments on the wheels, gun and exhaust; drybrush on the tracks; antenna added and that's all...
-
:-clap :-clap :-clap
-
Thank you! ;)
-
Looks excellent
-
Ready for deployment!!
