British Army UAV

To continue fighting the war on terror, the British Army has selected hand-launched UAVs to fill its need for persistent surveillance. Thanks to its latest enhancements, Lockheed Martin's Desert Hawk III delivers improved situational awareness under difficult conditions, including extended altitudes, extreme temperatures, and high winds. Characterized as extremely quiet and undetectable at distances greater than 150 m, it's a good fit for covert operations.
