Tragedy in the air

It is not easy to perform an recce mission behind the enemy lines. This image with the caption on the back  side talk enough :( :( I can just imagine feeling when you lost an friend and take his dead body back home... I  apologize to anybody if this topic is irritate or make sad.

Great post No.1
During some of my research for my site, I found that during WW1 if 1 reconaissance aircraft when up, they would send up to 6 to 8 fighters to cover it.
