The Command of Long-range Aviation conducted a command and staff exercise at the base of the aviation compound in the Saratov region as part of a control check for the winter training period. During the flight mission, the crews practiced refueling in the air at an altitude of more than 6000 meters and a speed of about 600 kilometers per hour, as well as air patrol in a given zone. The flight mission lasted more than 7 hours. In total, about 10 long-range aircraft Tu-160, Tu-95MS and Il-78 were involved in the exercise.
