The Mirage III R (here is a Mirage III RD) is really a beautiful plane :

About 11 000 printed photos and 9 000 dias...
I have to say that about 15% were given to me by "old timers" or other comrads.

Can you give me a closeup scan of one of the unit emblems? i could not find it with the serial registrations. The Fiats must have belonged to some of the Aufklärungsgeschwader.

I've searched in my notes and the FIATS didn't belonged to one Aufklärungsgeschwader, but belonged to LeKG 41. The year is 1968-1969.
The code is not listed in most histories of the Bundesluftwaffe, but I know of another G 91R-3 (31+75) of LeKG 41.

Ok i found it :-green
LeKG (Leichtes Kampfgeschwader) 41 = Light Fighter Squadron was made up out of JaboG 35 and had their base in Husum in north Germany. flying F-84F Thunderstreaks (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7f/Republic_F-84F_Thunderstreak-donderwolk.JPG) and Fiat G-91.
