Last weekend I visited Pápa Hungarian AF base, they have an open area so anyone can see the birds along as you don't cross the wire... However here are the pictures I took there, maybe someone will find some modeling inspiration

Pride and glory some decades ago, now rusty and alone... never heard before about Pápa airfield but I guess that is one of place where one local businessman from Serbia suggest to go and get scrap titanium from abandoned military airplanes

Papa a AF base is one of the biggest in Hungary, NATO airplanes was station there in 1999 when they bombed Yugoslavia.....Now it's mostly transport units. Surprisingly don't have such a picture, but it was fun for me anyway

To regret, many info skip away from my mind in a meantime.. in the moment when it is hot, I was good informed, even before war in '99 about use their base for attack of Croatian airplanes (as two bases for military training's)

Thanks for those great photos!
I wish I had a way to transport one of those beauties into my back yard.......sad to see them in their resting place but happy that they are still intact.
