Last weekend I visited Pápa Hungarian AF base, they have an open area so anyone can see the birds along as you don't cross the wire... However here are the pictures I took there, maybe someone will find some modeling inspiration

Pride and glory some decades ago, now rusty and alone... never heard before about Pápa airfield but I guess that is one of place where one local businessman from Serbia suggest to go and get scrap titanium from abandoned military airplanes excellent set of photos, thank you sooo much

P.S. where is photo you stand near airplane and hold beer?

Papa a AF base is one of the biggest in Hungary, NATO airplanes was station there in 1999 when they bombed Yugoslavia.....Now it's mostly transport units. Surprisingly don't have such a picture, but it was fun for me anyway

To regret, many info skip away from my mind in a meantime.. in the moment when it is hot, I was good informed, even before war in '99 about use their base for attack of Croatian airplanes (as two bases for military training's)

I wish I had a way to transport one of those beauties into my back yard.......sad to see them in their resting place but happy that they are still intact.
