Title: Pápa airfield
Post by: modellius on August 23, 2020, 06:36:09 PM
Last weekend I visited Pápa Hungarian AF base, they have an open area so anyone can see the birds along as you don't cross the wire... However here are the pictures I took there, maybe someone will find some modeling inspiration

Papa a AF base is one of the biggest in Hungary, NATO airplanes was station there in 1999 when they bombed Yugoslavia.....Now it's mostly transport units. Surprisingly don't have such a picture, but it was fun for me anyway :)

Thanks for those great photos!

I wish I had a way to transport one of those beauties into my back yard.......sad to see them in their resting place but happy that they are still intact.
