I found some photo about baracca spad VII and is Nieuport-Macchi 11 and the color profile of his SpadXIII

I check on my osprey books and I found another color profile about Baracca's SpadXIII...
I think this profile it's more correct than other one :-think :-wave

Yes for sure that lower profile is more correct. But Ochre spot on the fuselage is not know for me. By the way- is the top image of tha Baracca in front of Spad XIII from archive SMA?

Hello

Sorry but the first Spad XIII (with star) is the plane of Lt Jacques Michael Swaab of 22 nd Aero (USA squadron)
and the second (with hat on ring) the eddie rickenbacker'one (ace of ace  american' ww1 fighters)
Baracca's Spad were well recognized by his galoped horse-This personal insignia was given by his widowed woman to.....Enzo Ferrari
who adopted this horse as personal insignia since that time

This famous flier was brought down by an Austrian flier.  I can't remember his name.  Any help out there?

I have read where the Hispano Suiza engine was a very unreliable one.  Americans in particular seemed to have a great deal of problems with it.
