Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania have developed four autonomous quadcopters that are capable not only of performing aggressive aerial maneuvers, but also working together as a team to lift heavy payloads. The novel unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) possess claw-like grippers for grabbing surfaces and can collaborate with one another thanks to special software that relies on cooperative logic.

Very important point is the synchronization among the flying units- they work as one!

And that is only one program. Soon they will make more regimes of flight and tasks... a new age of flying robots is coming. :-eek :-wave
