Title: Douglas DC-6B Walk around, Red Bull base Hangar 7 - Salzburg
Post by: Profa on July 04, 2011, 08:57:19 PM
Well, it's been over 3 months that I had posted first topic on Hangar-7, home of Flying Bulls fleet :-roll
Meanwhile I've forgot :-dal to post walk arounds of other interesting aircraft I've seen there, so here I continue...
Don't have to, and don't want to waste too much time about the history of this plane, the only thing interesting about this particular sample is that it once belonged to Yugoslav president Tito, was later sold to Africa where it was found by chance and returned to Europe, a little northward, where it was restored to its full beauty :-eek
You can find the full account of this story at http://www.flyingbulls.com/#/en/Aircraft/Douglas-DC-6-B/, and here are the pictures I've taken...
