Outstanding! :-eek :-ok :-clap :-clap :-clap
It seems that this airplane had a lot of hose "on the nose finished" landings. :-think
-
Not actually, I was just a little bit evil and choose images like that... our friend Tenk plan to build diorama in 1/48 scale with this type in some of the crash land situation. Maybe best description could be 'plane is landed... somehow :) '
Cheers :))

'plane is landed... somehow
Very nice saying. I know that Tank is going to make it, yesterday we just talked, think he is going to use one model of a friend that made some mistake, or so.
Very good idea, why to waste a model.
That airplane is really looking amazing, with that long nose area, really powerfull.
Cheers!

Thank you :-razz Tenk- if you are maybe interesting in the crash from my first post, plane in swamp, I think that I have more images.
yes that's the one!

Here you are :) This is the machine from the VF-85 and they operated mixed types of Corsair and there was also C version. Machine you are interesting in is is number 46 but note that number 41 and 55 are C model so it is possible that this is also C model. Rest images are also from the same unit.

Well.. Maybe. Who knows.. ;)
But for now, i stay on jets. :))

:-razz

The F2G is a favorite of mine, and one of the first models I did a lot of research and kitbashing on. This is my old Otaki conversion done in the late seventies. Sorry it looks dirty and nasty, but I decided to leave this one as it is and just put it in the back of the display.
