As I could see there is much of similarity with the much later design of F-16... Frnech designers are very advanced in the time!

if some of you could be interested, I have post a set of close up of the Griffon as seen in Air and Space Museum in Paris - Le Bourget on the other topic about this plane.

Very nice colour shot of that imposing Griffon! It is from the Musée de l' Air website and of course they are in a position to take from time to time photographs on the platform in front of the museum at Le Bourget! During the Salon Aéronautique the museum is open for a reduced price. Another service to the public is, that during this occasion they ofter have a plane of  their collection standing outside!
Only for this, it is worth visiting the Salon every uneven year (next one will be next year!). In the past years, they had amongst others the Bréguet Taon and the Sud-Est Barroudeur on the platform!

I note some frame on the cockpit canopy... it look like second prototype had three models of canopy?

despite some nice document have been posted here and on the two other topic about the Griffon, if some of you are really in love with this plane, a "coming soon" book will be probably of the greatest interest.

http://www.aerostories.org/~aerobiblio/article.php3?id_article=1068

In the coming weeks, this book of 216 pages and over 400 pictures (20 pages in colors) will tell the story of the Griffon and the Gerfaut (similar in shape to the XF-92, the tailpipe being shorter).
