Where can I find information on this ace.  If one reads US History books concerning WW II, you would hardly know that Russia was in the war.  You might fand something about Stalingrad and rarely Kursk and that's about it. Boris Safonov and many others gave the Germans a very bad time and ought o be better known in the west.

Thank you for the information and sites on Boris Safonov.  There is little information on Soviet fliers available here.  I found the career of this ace to be very interesting,  Again, thank you very much.
