One interesting machine which did not have much attention by manufacturers but it is interesting.

And to mention that legendary Czech KP still produces its 1/72 kit:

Kit is delivered to market in 1970 an as I know it is sold in over million samples. I also have one and keep it for rebuild :))

Photo's are original company releases from Aero photo book.
Don't ask me how I obtained it; I just friendly rquested by letter!
At that time (early sixties) it still was very common to write aircraft manufacturers for PR material and most of the time you received thick envelopes with very nice photographs and brochures. It was the beginning of my current aviation photo archive!!
Unfortunately that is all over now!

That was until mid '90, you just contact manufacturer or Department of Defense and get what you ask. Historic archives was also friendly, I get so much from France and Germany and this give much help in my research work (in that time much work on domestic subjects)

Internet has changed this all! And nowadays nothing is really free of charge anymore. Even at Boeing you'll have to pay copyrights for publishing historical material.
Also new company brochures are copyright protected, You can't use their published 3-view drawings without authorisation.

I am still waiting for a decent kit in 1:72 to be releseas.But when someone releases the kit I will definetley look this thread up :)
