Kleine-Brogel Air Base present once again Belgian Air Force Show 2018. It was organized on September 7th, showing numerous aircraft and helicopters and giving you a splendid occasion to make the pictures you always have dreamed of. Logo of this 2018 show is “Ready for the future”, Belgian Air Force is in full transition with all its capabilities to prepare for the challenges of the future.

The international aerospace salon Farnborough Airshow (Farnborough) takes place on the territory of the exhibition complex Farnborough airport in Hampshire — a suburb of the British capital. The exhibition is held every two years and is the largest exhibition in the UK, if not worldwide.

The RIAT is a very large Air show containing hundreds of modern military aircraft in the static line-up and air display from many different countries around the world. In 2018, it held on 13-15 July.

Heathrow lies 14 miles (23 km) west of Central London,[3] and has two parallel east–west runways along with four operational terminals on a site that covers 12.27 square kilometres (4.74 sq mi). The airport is owned and operated by Heathrow Airport Holdings, which itself is owned by FGP TopCo Limited, an international consortium led by Ferrovial that also includes Qatar Holding LLC, Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, GIC Private Limited, Alinda Capital Partners, China Investment Corporation and Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS). London Heathrow is the primary hub for British Airways and the primary operating base for Virgin Atlantic.

In September 2012, the UK government established the Airports Commission, an independent commission chaired by Sir Howard Davies to examine various options for increasing capacity at UK airports. In July 2015, the commission backed a third runway at Heathrow, which the government approved in October 2016.

RIAT 2017 held on 14th – 16th July 2017, reputed to be the biggest military airshow in the world, RIAT features modern military and classic aircraft, static and flying, from many continents. Here is selected photos from this event.

Farnborough airport is owned by TAG Aviation who offer facilities for business aviation. The airport is also home to the SBAC Farnborough air show which alternates with the Paris air show.

RIAT 2016 was the debut in the UK of the Lockheed Martin F35 Lightning II with several from the US Air Force & US Marine Corps. The show also commemorated the 75th anniversay of the Air Cadets.

The main highlight for me was the participation of 2 Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force Kawasaki P-1 Maritime Patrol aircraft.
